The Thrill Of A Cruising Holiday Discussed In Simple Terms

I am proud to write that I am celebrating my 25th wedding anniversary this year. As much as this may shock the readers of this article – I am as much in love with her today as I was when I married her. I wanted to show her how much I love her, not that she particularly needs reminding, and I wanted to really mark the fact of twenty-five years which in this day and age is somewhat of a feat. She has wanted to go on a cruise holiday for as long as I can remember, I decided to bite the bullet and to book her the trip as a surprise.

It was now a question of sourcing the holiday and it has to be said that there are a fair amount of these types of cruise holidays available. I started by looking in the national newspapers as I often see them advertised in there. I also went into three travel agents which were located in the local high street. I kind of knew it would be quite expensive however I had not expected it to be this expensive.

I was then advised by my eldest son to try searching online as he believed that the best deals for cruise holidays would probably be located on the internet. I was not that experienced with this online world, as I am of the older persuasion. My son was more than happy to show me the ropes however – which was most appreciated. I found the whole experience of searching on the world wide web to be amazing and I am now a fully fledged silver surfer. More importantly we managed to locate a real bargain online and have now booked it.

My wife was over the moon when she received her gift and we are both now thrilled at the thought of going on this cruise holiday.I will write another article on our return to let you know how we got on.
