Ancient Odyssey Mediterranean Cruise

Day 1 Palma, Majorca

Day 2 At Sea

Day 3 Messina, Sicily
Sicily is rich in history. Fascinating pieces of history you’ll get to see here include ornate Baroque architecture, Greek temples, Arab-style Norman churches and Roman mosaics. Sicily is also the home of the popular The Godfather movies. You’ll be left breathless with the beauty of Mount Etna which dominates the skyline.

Day 4 Katakolon, Greece
This is the location of the first Olympic games ever played back in 776BC. It’s an archaeological site that includes the gymnasium where the athletes trained, the Temple of Zeus and the altar where the Olympic flame was lit and burned.

Day 5     Athens, Greece
You’ll be awestruck with the stunning marble buildings of Acropolis which stand high over the city. There’s also a charming old quarter in the historically steeped city of Athens. The old quarter has quaint tavernas and narrow winding streets.

Day 6     At Sea

Day 7     Istanbul, Turkey
Here you’ll get to see the location where chariot racing took place, the Hippodrome. Other highlights include the Blue Mosque and the Topkapi Palace. You’ll also get a chance to shop at the Grand Bazaar and view the stunning Bosphorous River. Istanbul is known for its strong connections to the Byzantium, Ottoman and Roman Empires.
Day 8     At Sea

Day 9     Kusadasi, Turkey
Kusadasi is the gateway to one of the world’s largest religious archaeological site, Ephesus. In this lively resort town, you’ll also find the Temple of Artemis which has been noted as one of the Seven Wonders of the World. You’ll also get to see a lovely promenade and attractive harbour.

Day 10 Santorini, Greece
Thought by some to be part of the legendary lost continent of Atlantis, the Island of Santorini offers you a monastery from 1712 and breathtaking views from Mount Profitis Ilias.

Day 11 Heraklion, Crete
In Crete, you’ll be treated to some of the most spectacular nature views in the world including beautiful gorges, tall mountains and lovely beaches. Crete is also the home to the archaeological site of an ancient civilization. The capital city buzzes with activity and interesting people.

Day 12 At Sea

Day 13 Malta
A great place for spectacular pictures, Malta offers beautiful scenery like honey coloured stone against rich Mediterranean blues.

Day 14 At Sea

Day 15 Palma, Majorca
You’ll return to the same location you began. It’s the perfect place to get into the Mediterranean lifestyle and the ideal place to say good-bye to it.
